A NEW NAME. A NEW CHAPTER. STILL US.
INTRODUCING THE DUCHESS OF LICHFIELD
For 13 years, you knew us as Le Rêve. A little independent cocktail bar on Bird Street, right in the heart of Lichfield.
Beautiful cocktails. Dressed-up Saturdays. First dates, birthdays, celebrations, familiar faces and the sort of evenings that started with one drink and ended considerably later than intended.
We loved Le Rêve. And judging by some of those Saturday nights, you did too.
But after 13 years, we fancied a little reinvention.
So, we crowned the next chapter.
Enter The Duchess of Lichfield.
A new name, a rather fabulous new look and a little more character. But don’t worry, the same people are still behind it all.
The cocktails are still serious. The welcome is still warm. And Saturday nights? Darling, we wouldn’t dream of changing those.
Expect lively afternoons, live music, DJs and all the atmosphere you remember.
But The Duchess has more than one side to her.
She’s just as happy hosting a relaxed Thursday evening as she is a lively Saturday night.
Fridays are for cocktails, conversation, games and even a pizza from your favourite local takeaway. Sometimes she’ll have a little something up her sleeve — live entertainment, a special guest or something entirely unexpected.
Sundays are for taking your time. A proper pint, a good cocktail, a pack of cards and perhaps a four-legged companion at your feet.
There are beers and ales alongside our cocktails, a dartboard tucked away at the back, cornhole and cards for anyone who fancies a little friendly competition.
Because we wanted to create more than somewhere to go for a big night out.
We wanted somewhere you could pop in for one, stay for three, catch up with old friends, make a few new ones or simply enjoy a lovely afternoon without needing an occasion.
A proper social house for grown-ups. Independent, full of character and proudly Lichfield.
Same people. Same home. Thirteen years of stories behind us.
And a whole new chapter ahead.
She’s acquired a grander title, but she hasn’t forgotten where she came from.
Welcome to The Duchess of Lichfield.
Royal Taste. Slightly Scandalous.
